Cllr Bernie Mooney (Chair of Wallasey Constituency Committee) 13th March 2018

A number of people who were at last night’s public meeting of the Wallasey Constituency Committee (which can be watched below) have commented on the strange decision to have verbal answers given at Public Question Time to all questions submitted by the public except from those that were in any way related to the Hoylake Golf Resort.

Wallasey Constituency Committee 13th March 2018 Part 2 of 2

Despite various councillors on the Wallasey Constituency Committee at the meeting having actually having made various key decisions involving the Hoylake Golf Resort, there were no verbal answers given out (apart from 9 A4 pages of frequently asked questions printed off from this page on Wirral Council’s website (I might point out that I disagree with some of the answers written there).

Here are some tweets about the issue of Hoylake Golf Resort and questions at the meeting:

Ironically after Public Question Time had ended, there was then an agenda item on engagement with the public when Wirral Council councillors were the ways in which Wirral Council needs to improve in the area of public engagement, but the Chair wouldn’t take any questions on that item from the public!

It is expected there will be further questions about the Hoylake Golf Resort asked tomorrow evening (15th March 2018) at the Wirral West Constituency Committee which starts at 7.00 pm at St Michael and All Angels Parish Church Centre, 1 Gills Lane, Pensby, CH61 1AF.
