  11. I worked as asocial worker with Wirral from 1982 and even then our resources to offer services for Children was inadequate. We tried as professionals to develop resources that were lacking and fought as trade unionists against cuts to services. Then they closed homes and privatised services. We need to get back to running our own services. No profit from care must be our banner!
