What’s in Wirral Council’s 96 page Hoylake Golf Resort contract?
Continuing from yesterday’s post about the cancelled hearing, I’d better once again state I was the person who made the information request.
Here however is a brief chronology of what has happened so far.

Two day hearing about Hoylake Golf Resort contract information request cancelled
Updated 14.2.18 with further clarification. The matter was listed on the 14.2.18 for a 15 minute telephone conference between parties and the judiciary.
Although I’m not a party in this matter (the parties are Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council (Appellant) and ICO (First Respondent), I was the person who made the original EIR request on the 12th December 2016.
The two-day open hearing for appeal EA/2017/0191 (Wirral Council’s appeal of ICO decision notice FER0672223 that was listed for the 13th & 14th February 2018 both days starting at 10:00 am at the Liverpool Civil and Family Court, 3rd Floor, 35 Vernon Street, Liverpool, L2 2BX has been cancelled.
Unfortunately I only received notice of this change this morning by email at 10:53.
As this matter has not yet reached a final decision and is still considered active, comments are turned off on this post for legal reasons.

How will the £16.5 million Hoylake Golf Resort highway improvements be funded?
On the 22nd December 2017 I announced I was taking a Christmas break from blogging and Wirral Council released further information about the costs of the roads associated with the proposed Hoylake Golf Resort. It was also released a few days after Cabinet’s decision to loan the developer £26 million if a planning application is successful.

Happy New Year! So what were the ten most watched videos on this blog’s Youtube channel in 2017 (by minutes viewed)?
10 In reverse order, number ten was a video not filmed in 2017, but during the general election in 2015 when there was a well attended public consultation meeting in Saughall Massie about a proposed fire station.
