So what did I find out at Merseyside Police Headquarters by using the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 about a £9,000 payment?

Using section 26 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 I inspected and received copies of accounting records of Merseyside Police for the 2018-19 financial year.

As Friday (12th July 2019) afternoon was the last day of the 30 day inspection period, Leonora and I went to Police HQ reception on the first floor to pick up what I’d requested. It was suggested we arrive from 2 pm onwards.

Last week I was present at a public meeting of Wirral Council’s Joint Strategic Commissioning Board (videos above) and a decision made solely by the Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group (Wirral CCG) individuals on the Joint Board was made to close two walk in centres at Moreton and New Ferry.

What happened at the Remembering Srebrenica event in Birkenhead organised by Wirral Council and the Wirral National Education Union?

On Thursday afternoon (11th July 2019) Leonora and I got the bus to a Remembering Srebrenica event (jointly organised by Wirral Council and the Wirral Branch of the National Education Union) held at Wirral Change at 12 Saint Laurence Drive, Birkenhead, CH41 3JD starting at 4.00 pm.

The venue used to be part of St Laurences’ Catholic Primary School before the school closed in August 2010. Part of the former school is now used for Wirral Change, part of the rest of the site but with a different entrance is used by Tomorrow Womens Wirral and I don’t know what the rest is used for.

Wirral Council’s Cabinet (as you can watch above) decided not to lend developer Nicklaus Joint Venture Group Limited an estimated £26 million of borrowed money to finance the Celtic Manor Resort scheme (previously called Hoylake Golf Resort).
