Wirral Council’s Cabinet will meet in public in Committee Room 1, Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, Seacombe, CH44 8ED on Monday 27th November 2017 (starting at 10.00 am) to decide on a recommendation to grant a 150 year lease to Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority for a fire station at Saughall Massie.

Despite growing public concern about the plans for Hoylake Golf Resort resulting in a public meeting next month organised by the local MP, yesterday Wirral Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport Cllr Stuart Whittingham (pictured above) approved £50,000 to be spent with consultants Mott McDonald for a “Saughall Massie Infrastructure Improvements Study”.

Above is one of the many weekly invoices Wirral Council received from Matrix SCM Limited for agency staff last year. Wirral Council spent £8,497,964.68 on agency staff with Matrix SCM Ltd last year.

Each invoice has an accompanying spreadsheet that shows how the total amounts on the invoice are calculated. The spreadsheets have a column titled units, which either represent hours or days for agency staff supplied.
