What is the Merseyside Police plan to end a dedicated police presence at Liverpool Crown Court to save £188,524?
A Merseyside Police plan to disband a Court Reassurance Team based at the Queen Elizabeth II Combined Court in Liverpool has been included in papers for a public meeting of the Merseyside Police and Crime Panel next week (17th October 2019).

Wirral Council was invoiced £36,000 by consultancy for work on the “delivery of a more effective urgent care system in Wirral” before consultation on changes had even finished!
Last year there was a well responded to consultation on “urgent care” that ran from 20th September 2018 to the 12th December 2018 on the proposed closure of walk-in centres on the Wirral. During that consultation a petition of 3,853 residents opposing the proposed closures was presented to a public meeting of Wirral Council councillors. At that same meeting sixty-two councillors agreed a resolution that stated, “Council is totally opposed to any outcome which would see the closure of existing walk-in facilities and minor injury and illness facilities at current urgent care locations in Wirral”.

EXCLUSIVE: Wirral Council “considered lending” £1.5 million to Tranmere Rovers Football Club!
An invoice (which you can read for yourself above) from GVA Financial Consulting Limited to Wirral Council dated 30th January 2019 was for financial advice costing £6,000 on whether to lend £1.5 million to Tranmere Rovers Football Club.

Wirral Council spent £12,000 on “Message in a Bottle” Sculpture in New Brighton
Wirral Council spent £12,000 last year on a sculpture called Message in a Bottle that currently floats alongside the jetty at New Brighton Marine Lake. The invoice above for £10,000 was for the first of two payments Wirral Council made last year for the sculpture.
The 8 metre long plastic bottle was bought last year from Bath-based Lulu Quinn Ltd (since then that company has been dissolved). Funded by an Arts Council grant, it was installed as part of the Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta 2018 as part of the Changing Tides Creative Programme.

Why is Merseytravel using an unlicensed security company to do “security guarding” at its Mann Island Headquarters?
Above is a picture of the outside of 1 Mann Island which are the leased headquarters of Merseytravel and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Merseytravel have a contract with a company called Carlisle Security Services Limited (33 pages of the contract supplied by Merseytravel are below) to provide a “Concierge and Porter Service” for 1 Mann Island (their headquarters) pictured above.
