Councillors asked for further £600,000 towards fire station at Saughall Massie
Councillors on the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority will be asked next week to agree to a further £600,000 for a new fire station at Saughall Massie. The government’s contribution to the project has been increased from £1.5 million to £2.086 million.

Wirral Council consultation on changes to the greenbelt finishes on Wednesday!
Wirral Council is planning a review of what land is in the greenbelt. There is a consultation on how they will decide what is or isn’t greenbelt land that finishes at 5pm on Wednesday 6th December 2017.

Wirral Council councillors discuss “naming and shaming” after “zero tolerance” approach to persistent bad behaviour
In a discussion about flytipping and environmental crimes on Wirral Council”s Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee councillors discussed a “naming and shaming” policy.

Cllr Mike Sullivan (Chair of Wirral Council’s Business Overview and Scrutiny Committee) tonight decided near the start the public meeting to use meeting time to refer to me as “discourteous” and stated that I “interrupted him when someone from the CCJ” was speaking.
